"Back to School or Back to Stress: Difficulties and strategies for teens going into and returning from summer break"

Mike Flint - Clinical Director at Life Launch Centers in West Jordan
Virtual Event for School Counselors, administrators and all educators.

I will be exploring themes shared by teens and young adults on the unique challenges faced by going into the summer break and the inevitable return to the regular school schedule.

I will be sharing some common trends in the latest research on why school can be so hard for the youth of today and how the summer break can both help and exacerbate the issues many of these teens face.

I will also be sharing some challenges from a variety of perspectives from parents to mental health professionals while helping our youth through this critical period. We will also review some tried and true strategies to foster resilience for these teens from the Life Launch Centers Resilience Model during this transitional period. We want to see our adolescents and young adults get back to school instead of back to stress!
