The Emotional Navigator©

the Emotional Navigator©

When it comes to mental health, many people wonder “What is normal, and what isn’t?  Is this just a phase, or should we seek some help?”

This seems to be the question parents ask themselves as they become concerned about the state of their child’s mental health.  Well, the good news is there is help.

The Emotional Navigator© is a 20 page booklet that addresses the top 10 most common uncomfortable emotions and behaviors.  For each of these we address the 3 major audiences: Youth, Parents, and Professionals, to clarify what healthy and unhealthy behavior looks like.  We address things like:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Coping with Trauma
  • Harmful Media
  • Unmotivated
  • School Struggles
  • Lying
  • Isolated
  • Self-Harm
  • Angry

The Emotional Navigator© also introduces the solutions Life Launch Centers provides through Group Counseling and how the Intensive Outpatient Program puts you on the fast track to a healthy emotional state.

You’ll also be pleased to find a short introduction to the Resilience Model©, Life Launch Centers 8 step approach to move from an overwhelmed emotional state back to productive logical thought processes. The curriculum was developed using elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the Daring Way© and Rising Strong© curriculum based on the research of Brené Brown, PhD.

“The Emotional Navigator© is the perfect tool help you start to find your way back to Resilient Emotional Health.”
