Anger

ANGER

> having a strong feeling of or showing annoyance, displeasure, or hostility; full of anger

Anger, yelling, exaggerated hand gestures, and foot stomping is what comes out when you suppress emotions. If you haven’t learned how to deal with your emotions, your emotions will control your reactions, leaving you feeling helpless and out of control.

If you’ve found yourself struggling to connect with your child in their young adult years, you’re normal. Angry reactions seem normal to them as they explore skills to develop into an adult.  Modeling emotional coping tools is the first step to helping them, then we teach how to process their intense emotions appropriately.
